Buchanan Named 2025 NAIA Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award presented by StrackaLine Recipient

SILVIS, Ill. – Adam Buchanan of Keiser has been named the recipient of the 2025 NAIA Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award presented by StrackaLine.
Ranked 12th via Scoreboard powered by Clippd, Buchanan finished inside the top 10 five times, including winning the Sun Conference Championship by three strokes, and recorded a 72.2 scoring average. The Ballyclare, Northern Ireland, native earned Sun Conference Freshman of the Year, All-Sun Conference, PING All-South Region, and PING First Team All-American honors. Buchanan, a member at Royal Portrush Golf Club, finished T21 at the NAIA National Championship.
Nateesh Ganesh of Keiser, Ben McFadden of Dalton State, Brady Meek of Texas Wesleyan, and Stanley White of Lindsey Wilson joined Buchanan on the All-Freshman team.
